Peggy Triggs

Owner/Designer, CKD, CAPS

Peggy has her bachelor's degree in Interior Design and has specialized in the kitchen and bath industry since 1981. She is a certified kitchen designer, along with being a certified aging in place specialist.

Her father, who was in the cabinet business suggested that she attend a kitchen design class to round out her education. She was always strong in math and liked the attention to detail that went along with kitchen and bath design, so it was a natural fit for her. She has worked for several companies in the past and in 2012 started her own company, Cabinets by Design.

Not only has she specialized as a kitchen and bath designer, but she has also taught interior design at a community college and currently gives cooking classes at her showroom. Peggy feels blessed to have found a career that she can be passionate about even after so many years in the business.

Lauren Eide

Lauren earned her Interior Design degree from Iowa State University in 2016. After starting her career in the commercial interior design field she made the decision to start her own design company. The skills and knowledge she gained is utilized and cultivated today, here at Cabinets by Design. Her role encompasses design, technical computer skills and marketing.

Her interest in design started at a young age when she would constantly rearrange furniture groupings in her childhood home, honing her skills and passion for design.

Lauren now lives in Des Moines with her boyfriend, Brenden, and dog, Copper. In her down time she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Office Greeter

Her love for attention is unparalleled and her motivation and persistence for treats is inspiring.
